Cheat Star Ocean 4 : The Last Hope

sometime i just want to folow the story... no need for leveling etc etc....

changing that values will allow you to change or have max money,max HP,max MP,max SP (skill point), max ATK, max HIT, max GRD,max LEVEL, etc etc.

What you need
1. Download xplorer360
2. Download Hex Editor. EditPad is free
3. Download CON Resigner
3. Disassemble your Xbox 360 HDD and connect it to SATA port on PC. (xbox-hq have the tut)

then just use xplorer360 to copy the savegame.
its located on
Partition 3 > Content > your profile > 535107DD > 0000001 (or something similar)

your profile folder usually the top-most folder.

Xbox 360 & PS3 at LCD monitor in correct aspect ratio, without black border

i just found a way to display xbox 360 / PS3 games without black borders and correct aspect ratio in 16:10 monitor.
this work on my BenQ G900WD 19" and my ViewSonic 17"

usefull for monitor without 1:1 pixel aspect ratio option.


- save THIS IMAGE (right click, save as) to USB FlashDisk
- turn on you xbox 360/ps3
- set x360/ps3 to 1920x1080 or 1280x720 or 1280x768 (x360)
- open that picture on xbox 360/PS3.
- press AUTO on your monitor

now wait and see. . . after It finish auto-adjusting, your monitor should display the image in correct aspect ratio and no black borders :)
the disadvantage is, the left and right is cropped a bit.

now you can play MGS4 without snake look skinny and stretched :D

maybe other monitor can use this trick too.

Otomedius .pak files

been playing Otomedius G (オトメディウス G) and i see there CG gallery in the game. i browse the DVD and i found many .pak files, i think it contain all the CG.
there's one problem, i can't identify the .pak file. There no header or something to identify the .pak files. I already tried many extractors and all failed......

i have tried :
IsoBuster
Far (with MR Ripper plugin)
SUSIE
Winrar >_<

if you success extracting it, please tell me...... how to extract these .pak files.

the audio, just like other xbox 360 games, its in XMA2 codec >_< . Some on .pak, some on .xwb (xbox wavebank)
XMA2 can be extracted but unplayable due to no decoder.
there's XMA decoder but it can't decode XMA2 :p

Jasper Motherboard in the Wild: 256MB Internal 'MU', 150W PSU, ...

Moddage posted pictures of his new Jasper 360 on our forums (here and here) and we also received some pictures from The Dude Z. Both are Arcade SKUs made 10-23-2008 Lot #0843X by Team FDOU.

The new power supply is now 150W (25W less than those used with Falcon boards) and the plug has of course been changed so u can't plugin this PSU into an older motherboard.

Other unannounced change ... the onboard flash chip has grown from 16MB to 256MB. Microsoft included internal memory storage, so the Arcade SKU now ships without (external) Memory Unit and the new NXE dash will install fully on the flashchip (rather than requiring a HDD or external MU). But the internal memory can also be used to store gamesave data, XBLA games, videos or whatever ... u can use it asif it was an external MU. (as the flash chip is also used for the kernel/keyvault/dash etc there seems to be about 214MB left according to scoldingice on our forums to store your own stuff)
I'm guessing the Jasper PRO and Elite SKUs will also come with this internal memory. It's just cheaper for Microsoft to make 1 type of motherboard for all SKUs rather than making a different version for each SKU. Also seems logic in a way ... get the full NXE dash on the internal flash is much 'cleaner' than using HDD/MU for it.

The motherboard design didn't change much ... besides the bigger flash and what's probably the new 65nm GPU, we also see a new south bridge model ... the rest (videochip, CPU, heatsinks, general board layout, ...) seems pretty much similar to falcon boards.

It also appears there are RAM chips on the bottom of the board again (without thermal pads even) ... Microsoft recently switched to RAM chips with double capacity so they could drop the 4 chips on bottom (and only place 4 on the top) ... but apparently they are back (old stock maybe?). However the type of RAM chips they use is not bound to the motherboard revision ... there are falcon boards with RAM chips only on the top and falcon boards with RAM chips on both top and bottom. Same can happen for the jasper boards.

if you installed NXE on MU, then you buy HDD from XBOX storage solution or somewhere..
you maybe want to free the MU from that big NXE update.

here what you need to do

TO MOVE NXE FROM MU to HDD.

1. turn off your Xbox 360
2. plug the new HDD. unplug the MU.
3. turn on the xbox 360, when connected to LIVE it will re-download the
NXE contents to HDD.

4. after all downloaded. plug MU.
5. go to system, memory.
6. copy your data from MU to HDD. then format your MU....
7. copy back your data to MU.

the NXE data like the intro video, avatar application, all are hidden
from the "memory" menu. the only way to remove it is by format the
MU.

NXE memerlukan ruang 128MB untuk dapat bekerja...
Yang berakibat lamaya waktu yang diperlukan untuk download.

Dengan SPEEDY, diperlukan waktu 30menit untuk selesai download dan install NXE.
sebaiknya kita semua berdoa tanggal 19 nanti speedy nggak kumat dan DC sndiri ataupun down.

Repair Xbox 360 gamepad #2 : turn off by itself / loosing connection

If your Xbox 360 wireless gamepad got randomly turn off by itself or loosing connection, this guide will tell you how to fix it.

if this not fix your gamepad, try this guide

1. remove the battery compartment from the gamepad.
2. cut some thick doubletape. about the same size as the metal thing.
3. stick it to the metal thing.


just like this picture

as an alternative,
you can use cardboard paper, Styrofoam, plastic or any thick thing to be placed on that metal thing.

Repair Xbox 360 gamepad : turn off by itself

If your wireless Xbox 360 gamepad got randomly turn off by itself, this guide will tell you how to fix it.

Tools needed.

How to make sure the problem lies on the Battery compartment or the "coil".
- Turn on your X360 wireless gamepad
- slap the gamepad. (or toss it aroud :D)

If it OFF, follow the next step.
If its still ON. This guide won't fix your gamepad.

FIX.1
Repairing the Battery Compartment

- Remove the batteries from the battery compartment.
- Press both sides until it pop open.
like in this picture.



- If it wont pop open, use the pliers.
Put the pliers on one battery slot.
Just keep force it until it breaks.



Inside the battery compartment


Insert a flat screwdriver head to here.


- Just lift the sliver plate until it touch each other.

- Assamble the battery compartment.
- Secure it with tape. i suggest use thin tape.


This should fix it.
If the problem still persist.
follow the next step.

Repairing the "coil" connection to mainboard.


- Dissamble the gamepad by removing all the screws. Use the flat-head screw.
- There one (1) screw hidden behind a sticker.
- re-solder the conductor (spiral, coil, thingy).
